Manisha Shrivastava1, Poonam Singh2, Pranesh Kumar Singh3
Background- A case of a woman aged 55 years having post-menopausal symptoms treated with homoeopathic medicines. The post-menopause period refers to the time after menopause has set and may continue for 2 to 5 years after it.
Material and methods- The patient has been prescribed using homoeopathic principles; and then assessed with MRS (menopause rating scale). The first score chart is mentioned here. The result in terms of the score is established after maintaining the chart after each follow-up of the case.
Result- Homoeopathic treatment has reduced the MRS score of the patient suggesting the utility of homoeopathic medicine in the treatment of post-menopausal complaints.
